Each day, the morning darkness lingers a little bit longer. Daybreak reveals a cool, misty fog. Skittish squirrels are back, chasing each other about outside the window. Overwhelming it all, the cycling whine of some industrial beast somewhere in the neighborhood.

Nothing is on the agenda today, but rain is scheduled for the weekend. It’s probably good enough to take my coffee outside, breathe the fresh air, and let Friday be Friday.
