Hey, Friend! You won’t believe it: Conversation interrupted by a pile of fire trucks rushing down my cul-de-sac! Pump hooked up to the hydrant outside my house and started rolling hose down the street. Battalion Commander zipped down followed by a big pump & ambulance. Shit got real when the big ladder truck arrived! Figured that’s at least three separate stations responding. Team moving with a purpose! And then… fizzle. They started packing up. Rolled out quietly at first, but then sirens up! They were off again. Reminds me of Army days – teamwork – shoot, move, & communicate! Awe inspiring to watch. Good stuff and good attitudes right through the final paperwork and lessons learned. Folks you want on your side, you know? Gotta love it
